Ultrasound-compatible areas, including the patella, patellar ligament, tibia, fibula, femur, synovial sac, and synovial fluid. Synovial fluid can be aspirated from a joint cavity using the medial or lateral approach. Insertion sites include suprapatellar and parapatellar.
